TAC SS

The TAC SS is a battery-powered scene controller that requires no electrical wiring whatsoever. Six capacitive buttons, each mapped to a scene or automation, housed in a slim panel that mounts magnetically or with adhesive on any surface. Place it at your bedside, beside the front door, inside a wardrobe, on a coffee table — wherever a scene trigger would be useful. The absence of wiring changes how you think about switch placement. A "goodnight" button on your nightstand that did not exist when the house was built. A "welcome home" trigger beside the entrance that appeared after you moved in. A "movie mode" button on the wall next to your sofa. The TAC SS makes all of these possible without calling an electrician or cutting into walls. Powered by two CR2032 batteries, it communicates over Zigbee 3.0 and lasts months between replacements depending on usage frequency. The backlit icons are customizable, and the glass finish matches the wired TAC switches installed elsewhere. The TAC SS is ideal for renters who cannot modify walls, for retrofitting scenes into finished homes, or for placing controls in locations where running electrical cable would be impractical. It works with any Zigbee hub and participates fully in the Smartify ecosystem.
