How we solve it: We cover the perimeter first: gate automation with remote access, door and window contact sensors on the ground floor, outdoor cameras at the gate and rear approach, and motion-triggered alerts that reach the phone within seconds. Lighting runs on presence simulation while the house is empty.

Most independent homes run on borewell and sump-to-overhead-tank pumping, and a pump left running past a full tank or started dry is a routine and expensive failure.

Yes, and in Hyderabad villas it is one of the most-used parts of the system. Level sensors in the sump and overhead tank control the pump automatically, cut it off at full tank, protect against dry running, and alert you when the sump is low. It runs locally, so it keeps working even if the internet is down.
The automation logic does. Zigbee devices hold their state locally and the hub reconnects within about a minute of supply returning, so schedules and scenes resume without you touching anything. Devices themselves need power, so we usually put the hub, router, and gate controller on the existing inverter or UPS circuit, which most Hyderabad villas already have.
