Zigbee VRV Gateway

The VRV Gateway bridges commercial-grade HVAC systems into your smart home automation platform over Zigbee 3.0. Large residences, offices, and mixed-use buildings with VRV or VRF air conditioning can now control individual indoor units through the same interface that manages their lights, curtains, and security — unified scenes, coordinated schedules, and voice commands included. Connecting via the outdoor unit's X/Y communication port, the gateway translates proprietary VRF protocols from over twenty major manufacturers — Daikin, Samsung, LG, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Toshiba, Panasonic, Hitachi, Carrier, Gree, and more — into standard Zigbee messages your automation hub understands. Additional RS485 and KNS ports allow peripheral integration for complex commercial setups. Each indoor unit appears as an individually controllable device: set temperatures per zone, schedule different modes for occupied and unoccupied hours, or trigger cooling when a presence sensor reports someone in the room. This gateway is purpose-built for installations where centralized HVAC meets distributed smart control. It does not switch electrical loads directly — it communicates with the VRF system's own controller. Powered by an external adapter, it requires a qualified HVAC technician for commissioning.
